New SPF roof systems
Closed-cell roofing foam is applied to an approved, prepared substrate and shaped around penetrations and transitions to create a continuous insulated surface.

Spray foam roofing, repair and recoating for eligible commercial and specialty buildings in Denton and North Texas.
Built for North Texas
Spray polyurethane foam, commonly called SPF roofing, creates a fully adhered, seamless roof surface that can add insulation and help improve drainage on selected low-slope buildings.
A successful system begins with a dry, sound substrate. We evaluate the existing roof, trapped moisture, drainage, penetrations, rooftop equipment and previous repairs before recommending installation, repair or restoration.
Closed-cell roofing foam must be protected from sunlight and weather with a compatible elastomeric coating. The proposal should identify the foam, coating, preparation, detail work, application requirements and future inspection and recoating responsibilities.

Commercial SPF roofing services
111 Roofing & Exteriors evaluates spray foam systems for warehouses, shops, metal buildings and other qualifying commercial or specialty properties. The recommendation depends on the existing assembly—not simply whether foam can be sprayed over the surface.
Closed-cell roofing foam is applied to an approved, prepared substrate and shaped around penetrations and transitions to create a continuous insulated surface.
Damaged or wet foam is identified, removed where required and rebuilt with compatible materials before the protective surface is restored.
Eligible systems can receive detail repairs and a compatible silicone, acrylic or other specified elastomeric coating at the required application rate.
Assessment before application
Spray foam is not a shortcut around an unsound roof. Before developing a scope, the existing surface should be checked for trapped moisture, loose materials, contamination, deteriorated flashings and drainage problems. The evaluation also considers overspray exposure, weather conditions, neighboring property, rooftop equipment and occupied areas.
When moisture is suspected, the project may require test cuts, moisture scanning or other investigation appropriate to the roof. Findings determine what must be removed, repaired or isolated before foam and coating are applied.
Document the substrate, previous roof layers, leaks, wet areas, penetrations, perimeter conditions and access.
Review ponding locations, drains, scuppers and whether tapered foam can improve positive drainage in selected areas.
Identify preparation, foam thickness, detail work, coating type, reinforcement and required application quantities as one system.
Protect the completed roof with scheduled inspections, prompt repairs and recoating before weathering exposes the foam.
Where SPF may fit
Spray foam may be considered for eligible metal, built-up, modified-bitumen and other approved low-slope substrates. Suitability depends on moisture condition, attachment, surface preparation, drainage, compatibility and the requirements of the selected manufacturer.
A continuous SPF system can insulate and cover many fasteners, seams and irregular transitions after corrosion, loose panels and details are properly addressed.
SPF can create a monolithic surface around curbs, pipes and equipment while adding insulation and adjusting slope where the existing conditions allow.
Localized hail or service damage may be repairable when wet or deteriorated materials are removed and the remaining system is suitable for restoration.
The coating is the weathering surface. Selection should account for drainage, climate, compatibility, required thickness, warranty conditions and maintenance.
Spray foam roofing questions
SPF roofing uses field-applied closed-cell polyurethane foam beneath a compatible protective coating. It creates a continuous insulated surface over an eligible roof substrate.
Many systems can be restored when the foam and underlying assembly remain suitable. Wet areas, damaged foam, adhesion, drainage and detail conditions must be evaluated first.
Foam can be applied at varying thicknesses to improve slope in selected areas. Deck conditions, drains, scuppers, structural limitations and recurring ponding still require evaluation.
Yes. Coating, sealants, penetrations, drains and exposed details should be inspected routinely. Timely repairs and recoating help keep ultraviolet light and weather away from the foam.
Before you choose a scope
When evaluating spray foam, discuss the existing roof, drainage objectives, insulation needs and site conditions. Ask for the protective coating and detail work to be included in the same proposal. Confirm how nearby property, equipment and occupants will be protected during application.
